The University of Colorado and the Colorado School of Mines are receiving 16 1/2 million dollars. The grants coming to the schools over a six-year period from the National Science Foundation. These grants will help us address the enormous energy challenges facing our state, our country, and our planet. The School of Mines will receive more than $9 million to create a new center focusing on renewable energy materials and technologies. C.U.
