It will be sold to a mother and her 4 daughters. This summer Habitat will build that home and finish another they started last year. As housing prices rise, the chapter is seeing more demand for their homes... unlike many chapters in our area, the Steele County Habitat For Humanity isn't struggling for funds because they received a grant from Thrivent Financial and donations from area churches. But they're facing another challenge: they're having trouble finding lots to build more homes. As of Saturday, ground was broken on their last vacant lot. 00:27:14
