[CC] 00:12:50 I like this, learn a new skill. Give us some of examples. Whenever you learn something your brain is figuring something out, almost flexing like a muscle, the same way you build up a muscle so when you're learning how to do even a simple everyday skill, play chess, play the guitar, you're making your brain work. You like chess in because it does tax certain parts of your brain that you don't normally tax. You're strategizing and figuring out your move but your brain is communicating your hand. You're not moving very much but you're actually getting kind of a two-for because your brain is figuring out and communicating with your hands. And the same with guitar, don't stop there after you've learned the skill, take it one step further. If you teach somebody else then your brain will have to rethink about what you're doing and figure out how to communicate it to you so I'm telling you to put your fingers there and put your fingers there and you're kind of, you know, this hand goes there, and so there's a lot going on. It doesn't feel like it but communication between your brain and body is intensive and improves your intelligence. Simple steps, learn a skill and take that skill and teach it to someone sglels that's all it takes. Thanks very much. Thank you. Back up to Meredith. Thanks. People who say learning is boring just aren't using their brains. Nicholas Thompson is a Senior Editor at "Wired" Magazine. Good morning to you. Good morning to you. You are great. You have brought products to excite my brain so show me. 00:19:54
